BS in International Business

Application & Entry Requirements

ESE offers rolling admissions so you can apply at any time of the year. You can start your studies once you have been accepted at any time. Students wanting to participate as resident students or in blended learning must contact the ESE centre of their choice for availability. Starting dates for resident classes are in September, January, and April.

While the requirements below are mandatory, final decisions on acceptance remain at the discretion of the Admissions committee. Students may be invited for a personal interview to complete their application procedure.


Entry Requirements


Entrance into the American BS degree programme at ESE requires the submission of the following documents to the Admissions Office at the ESE centre of interest:


Application Form filled out with complete information

  • Official copy of the High School Diploma or foreign equivalent certificate such as GED. This can be a diploma or acceptable certification of graduation from High School

  • Official copy of the High School Transcripts*

  • Proof of language proficiency for non-native English speakers

  • Photocopy of Passport / ID document

  • Proven academic achievement befitting future university success, official transcripts, and work experience for mature age students.

  • Four photographs (passport-sized)


* All documents not in the English language must be officially translated


English Language Requirements:


  • At least 2 years of high school taught in English, successful completion of NCUs EN111, or a minimum score of 500 on the paper-based Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL PBT), or 61 on the Internet Based Test (iBT), a 6.0 on the International English Language Test (IELTS) or 44 on the PTE** Academic Score Report.


Other acceptable requirements include:

  • A minimum grade of Level 3 on the ACT COMPASSs English as a Second Language Placement Test;


A minimum grade of Pre-1 on the Eiken English Proficiency Exam;


  • A minimum B-2 English proficiency level identified within the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR) standards and assessed through various ESOL examinations, including the University of Cambridge;



Applications arriving without the appropriate fee will not be considered.
