Entry Requirements

BACHELOR PROGRAMMES - BSc

Entrance into one of the bachelor programmes at ESE requires the submission of the following documents to the Admissions Office at the ESE centre of interest:

• Application Form filled out with complete information (click here to apply online)
• Official copy of the High School Diploma or foreign equivalent certificate*
• Official copy of the High School Transcripts*
• 6.0 IELTS, 79 iBT TOEFL or 213 CBT TOEFL**
• Photocopy of Passport / ID document
• Four photographs (passport-sized)

Applications arriving without the appropriate fee will not be considered.

* All non-English documents must be officially translated

** ETS Codes for the European School of Economics (for the TOEFL exam) vary by location: ESE London is 5977, ESE Rome is 1610, ESE Milan is 5974, ESE Florence is 5976 and ESE Madrid 8833

English Proficiency

Candidates who have completed their studies in the English language (at least 2 years) are not required to present a language qualification (TOEFL or IELTS).

Undergraduate Transfer Admission

Courses deemed equivalent to those in the chosen ESE degree programme may receive transfer credit. For more information about transfer from other universities please contact the ESE centre of interest.

 

 

FOUNDATION PATHWAY PROGRAMME

The Foundation Pathway Programme is aimed at students with an English language level of at least IELTS 6.0. Applicants will have successfully completed the equivalent of AS level (Grade 12) or have taken Grade 13 qualifications but without having reached the required level for direct entry onto the degree programme. The programme will have 8 core modules and four specialist modules.

• Official copy of the High School Diploma or foreign equivalent certificate*

• Official copy of the High School Transcripts*

• 6.0 IELTS

• Photocopy of Passport / ID document

• Four photographs (passport-sized)

MASTER OF SCIENCE (MSc) PROGRAMMES

Entrance into one of the master programmes at ESE requires the submission of the following documents to the Admissions Office at the ESE centre of interest:

• Application form, completed correctly (click here to apply online)
• A good first degree (second class honours or GPA 3.0 and above)*
• Resume / CV + Personal Statement
• Two letters of recommendation
• IELTS/ TOEFL** score
• Three photographs (passport size)
• Photocopy of passport/ID
• Application fee (£50) to be paid online (www.eselondon.ac.uk/apply.html)
addressed to the European School of Economics***

NB: All non-English documents must be officially translated.

* Candidates who do not hold the required qualification but who are able to demonstrate relevant work experience in a managerial position or above for a minimum of 3 years will also be considered.

** Candidates who have completed their studies in the English language (at least 2 years) are not required to submit this test.

ESE discourages any candidate with a TOEFL score lower than 577 (paper-based), 90 (internet-based) or IELTS score lower than 6.5 (minimum of 6.0 in each skill) from applying as the language of instruction is English.

The European School of Economics ETS (for the TOEFL) code numbers are:
ESE London: 5977; ESE Rome: 1610; ESE Milan: 5974; ESE Florence: 5976 ESE Madrid: 8833

*** ESE application fees are non-refundable and must be paid (online or money order) to the European School of Economics prior to the processing of your application. Fee payment must accompany a completed application.

Applications arriving without appropriate fees will not be considered.
