Academic Coordinator at ESE Milan
The European School of Economics, a private College of Higher Education fully accredited in the UK, is looking for an English native speaker to add to its Academic Department in Milan.

The resource will be responsible for assistance of day-to-day academic activities and for regular office duties and administrative tasks.


Responsibilities and duties:
The full time position as an Academic Coordinator will entail communicating with students and lecturers on a daily basis and assisting them with academic related issues. Organizing and maintaining student records in hardcopy and electronically as well as the library, student portal accounts and photocopy accounts. Managing and updating the student/lecturer portal. Tracking and recording of student absences, academic transcripts, grades, lecturer hours and CVs. Communicating day to day changes and announcements to students and lecturers. Class scheduling, setting deadlines for lecturers and students and ensuring they are met. Maintaining open communication with other campuses and the academic governance department. The ideal candidate should be a dynamic and motivated team worker, extremely organized and detail oriented, with excellent social and communicative skills. English mother tongue, good command of Italian, communication abilities, attitude of mentor, strong passion for education and learning. IT skills are necessary.  Previous experience working in an international administrative academic setting is preferred.


Other key characteristics the candidate should possess are:

Ability to work as part of a team as well as autonomously
Adept problem solver
Good interpersonal skills
An attentive eye for detail and ability to organize and plan effectively.
Be able to manage and meet deadlines and possibly work under pressure.
